Rural Bank of Magdalena (Laguna), Inc. obtains, collect, record, organize, store, update, modify, use, access, share and/or disclose (“Process”), information to facilitate, monitor, improve the quality of, or otherwise service the clients’ account and such products/services availed by, and/or to comply with legal, regulatory, or other obligations of the Bank under applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Who do we share your data with

The Rural Bank of Magdalena (Laguna), Inc. may share your personal information with such third parties which includes business units, agents, outsourced service providers, and other third parties to carry out the following:

  1. To better understand the way, you use our products and services. This will allow us to improve our services and offer you opportunities to obtain such other useful products and services that may deliver greater value to you.
  2. We may share information likewise to offer you additional products and services that we believe you might find interesting.

How long we retain your data

We at the Rural Bank of Magdalena (Laguna), Inc. will safely keep your data in our system and use it for banking and legal purposes only. All personal information obtained shall be retained and disposed of under the Guidelines on Retention and Disposal of Records of Rural and Cooperative Banks.

What rights do you have over your data

  2. The right to access, under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have a right to obtain from an organization a copy of any information relating to you that they have on their computer database and/or manual filing system.
  3. The right to object, to the collection and processing of personal information under certain conditions.
  4. The right to erasure or blocking, wherein under the law, you have the right to suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal data under certain conditions.
  5. The right to rectify, and correct any inaccuracy or error in the personal information. Likewise, the client has the right to update and provide additional information in the future.
